About
Clara Goossens
Registered Psychologist/Clinical Psychology Registrar
Clara is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar and researcher. Her clinical work focuses on neurodivergence, both in relation to therapy and to neurodiversity-affirming autism assessments. Clara has a particular interest in supporting Autistic individuals to grow in their self-understanding and find ways to navigate the world as an Autistic person. She has experience supporting Autistic clients to identify and work through burnout, adjust to receiving an autism diagnosis in adulthood, and learn about what this means for them.
Clara aims to provide a service that is both warm and welcoming, and informed by lived experience and evidence-based practice. She also has a particular interest in supporting people with diverse gender identities to explore their gender identity and related experiences. Clara also provides support for general mental health concerns, including challenges relating to mood, anxiety, adjustment to significant life changes, interpersonal challenges, and difficulties with managing emotions.
